TACNY STEM Trekkers

In 2022, TACNY rolled out our initial summer program for students entering 6th-9th grades, STEM Trekkers, with a focus on robotics. The program is free and open to any student with interest in science, technology, engineering, and/or math. The goal of STEM Trekkers is to offer a comprehensive, unique, and rigorous STEM interactive educational experience that piques students’ interest in STEM, and that incorporates local businesses and organizations. STEM Trekkers additionally seeks to highlight the crossover between industry and education in our community. Programming in future years will consider student interests, availability of space, and partner organizations.
