TACNY Maker Faire Syracuse

Part science fair, part county fair, and part something entirely new, Maker Faire, started in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2006, is an all-ages gathering of tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers, science clubs, authors, artists, students, and commercial exhibitors. All of these “makers” come to Maker Faire to show what they have made and to share what they have learned.

Featuring local “makers,” Maker Faire Syracuse is a family-friendly celebration featuring all kinds of making and creating from traditional arts & crafts to high tech creations. It was first held in 2022 at the SRC Arena at Onondaga Community College, followed at LeMoyne College’s Henninger Athletic Center in 2023. Beginning in 2024, TACNY will host Maker Faire Syracuse, and it promises to be bigger and better than ever!
