Talk Overview:
Jason will be showing students how to find out information about their neighborhoods using Syracuse’s Open Data Portal, data.syr.gov. He will also lead participants to create a personalized map using materials provided.
Biography:
Jason Scharf is a Data Program Manager for the City of Syracuse’s Office of Analytics, Performance, and Innovation. He helps city departments use data and information to make decisions and track how well city staff are serving the community.
