Micron Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS)
Join Greening USA on March 14th for a discussion of the environmental review process for the $100-billion Micron chips manufacturing plant to be built in Clay, NY. The Draft Environmental Impact Statement has yet to be issued for public comment, but is now being reviewed by governmental agencies and the Onondaga Nation. Members of the SustainCNY Micron work group will offer their views on what is expected in the DEIS, what are the priority issues for review, and what the expected commenting period will be. Whether you have only a passing interest, or if you are an expert willing to write detailed comments, please plan on attending to learn how you can assist with this important step in the development of the Micron facility.
