Spring Robotics Tournament featuring a combat robot competition!

We will also be featuring our timeless classic, The Balloon BattleBot Bash: Multiple robots, each with balloons attached, will compete via remote-control to pop balloons in the Robot Arena and on each other’s robots before all of their balloons are popped. Points are scored for balloons popped of their color, and for surviving the 3-minute matches.

The Tournaments will also include the following events:

• LEGO SumoBots/Open Class SumoBots: Two robots battle against each other on a circular Sumo competition field. The last functioning robot to remain on the field during a 3 minute match is declared the winner.
• Mission: Maze Mastery: Autonomous robots will race through a maze. No prior knowledge of the maze is known by the competitors — or the robots!
• Balloon BattleBot Bash — Small Division: Multiple autonomous robots, each with a balloon attached, will compete in an enclosed field to pop balloons before their own balloon is popped.
• Robot Races: Two types of Robot Races: One testing pure speed, and another testing the speed in which tasks can be accomplished — at very different locations.
