Sweet Science Series: Tour of GA Braun

We are excited to partner with MACNY, The Manufacturers Association, to celebrate Manufacturing Month 2023. The TACNY Sweet Science Series will visit local manufacturer GA Braun at 79 General Irwin Blvd, North Syracuse, NY 13212. Since 1946, Braun has revolutionized the laundry industry with innovative products designed to make laundry and textile facilities more productive and profitable. Braun has a rich history of providing customers with complete solutions to their laundry business issues, and today ranks as a premiere corporation with worldwide brand recognition.

Tour Guides:

Nick Stanley is Director of Operations for CNY Fabrication, LLC which is G.A. Braun’s fabrication subsidiary. Nick started with Braun in 2011 as a Mechanical Engineer in G.A. Braun’s finishing division and moved into manufacturing engineering and operations in support of vertical integration initiatives. Nick is responsible for all fabrication, including laser cutting and forming, machining, welding, and painting & powder coating, and also oversees manufacturing engineering and quoting & estimating for the fabrication business.

Chad Perfetti is G.A. Braun’s Director of Operations, managing purchasing, assembly, quality assurance, as well as EH&S. Chad started with G.A. Braun in 2004 as a welder/assembler, and moved on to various leadership positions across assembly and fabrication.

The tour will meet at 5:30 pm at the first-floor lobby of the main operations building.
