Talk Overview:
The human brain is more powerful than any supercomputer on earth, but that doesn’t mean it does not make mistakes. Let’s take a basic look at how our brains work, how they can be tricked, and how this knowledge can help our own learning.
Biography:
Chad has spent his career in higher education assisting students to succeed in science classes. He has taught biology, chemistry and physics classes. His research interest is in science education and working with non-native English language learners. He has worked with international students as well as first generation college students and enjoys sharing his love of science with his students.
